It's pretty low, but most mciro-VCs in India are exploitative. In the disguise of giving "VC exposure" they pay less across funds. Imo working at startups give you more confidence, work at this fund, milk out how VC works and all things you can learn then take operator role in startup, because VC in general is a pedigree game. You have a chance only if you're from a tier 1college/have been an ex-founder yourself so you understand the tech behind the product, everything else is pretty much bs and partners make the investment call mostly on gut feeling (which I still think if leadership is good is sth you can learn) but don't waste much time unless you want to go to a b-school next. Imo, ask for a hike, 50-70k is usually the range in microVCs.
