Am I underpaid?

I'll keep it short. I'm 22 M. Joined a startup last year July as Intern (got paid 15K/m)

Got PPO, joined as FTE this June, 7.2 LPA (60k/m).

Fyi, I work as a Software Engineer (Mobile)

2021 boom really made people believe they can walk on water. Most people out of college bagged 20-30L, but that time is gone.

You’re fine buddy. There are many with 2-3 YOE stuck at 5-6LPA.

Umm it's not like that. I see why you said this. But no, I don't expect 20LPA+ at this level. But I feel I deserve a little more due to my skills.

In any case thanks for commenting your thoughts. It helped.

You are doing good. At least spend one more year and switch for SDE2 roles for better compensation or you can get better pay at the same level by switching.

Thanks. Yes that's the plan. Thanks, at least I got reassurance that I was thinking the right thing.

Many MNCs don't give this much to even 3 YOE people.

TBH you are underpaid, but there is nothing to feel bad about. We all have been underpaid at some point in our lives. So chill. Keep Switching.
