Need financial advice for someone who's finally starting to think about growing the earned money

So, I have a good stable income now. But life's getting serious by the day as I grow older by the day. Need to start taking more financial responsibilities overtime when parents take their retirements in a year or two. So, thinking for starting somewhere now, small, slow and steady, before the big step up comes in. Have a lot of questions, related how to save, invest, spend, FIRE, MF, trading and so on. So, don't know where to begin with. Any heads up would be helpful for me to keep the conversation going with you. So, starting this like a conversational thread, as a reference for me and many more like me.

Average sde always struggles in India

Hey everyone, wanted to share a positive update about a friend I recently reconnected with on LinkedIn. A while back, I pinged Shwetha , a super talented senior SDE I knew from college. We lost touch after graduation, but I remembered how brilliant she was and wanted to see how she was doing. To my surprise, she mentioned she was actually on a sabbatical. Apparently, the pressure of her high-paying SDE job got to her. The workload was insane, and she was dealing with a lot of stress, which manifested in some health issues - anxiety, neurological problems, and even stomach issues. Things got so bad that her parents stepped in and convinced her to take a break. They even offered to help her transition into a teaching career, something she'd always shown an interest in. She's currently pursuing her B.Ed. while planning her wedding! Honestly, I was a little worried at first. Leaving a successful tech career seemed like a big step back. But when I spoke to Shwetha again, her voice radiated pure joy. She's loving the challenge of her B.Ed. program, feels a lot healthier now that the stress is gone, and is super excited to start her new life as a teacher. The whole experience made me realize that success isn't always about the fattest paycheck or the most prestigious title. Sometimes, it's about finding what truly makes you happy and fulfilled, even if it means taking an unconventional path. So happy for Shwetha and her new chapter
