Irritating colleague
We had a SM join our team he does little but shoes off a lot. He is handwavy but has good communication. Also exaggerates a lot like my neighbour next door is rich and has hundreds of cars and bikes. Then yesterday he was claiming he got an sr architect offer but he joined our company as scrum master I caught him a couple of times doing silly mistakes as a dev and calling every 5 mins which stopped as I was stern with him
What does the Scrum Master do in a project? (pls do read the full description before you answer)
I mean - if i Google/YT "What does a Scrum Master (SM) does?", I can get the answer but the feedback I got from testers, devs etc other technical role employees/colleagues (other than SM), I get to know that SMs don't contribute to a project (or its quite less). So, i want to know - what goes wrong here with a SM role and what could be done right so that SM could actually contribute to a project. Non-SMs & SMs both can answer here. I am an associate project manager and planning to switch to SM role.
