Stopped using Instagram
Been a week since I deactivated my Instagram account to get rid of the continuous doom scrolling addiction. My focus on work has improved slightly. I have been having much more positive vibes throughout the day. Anyone else felt the same?

Stopped and installed instadm which is a mod so I can just get messages.
But now I've switched to YouTube shorts.

Stopped using since 5 years and stopped feeling jealousy, laziness, fatigue, doom scrolling and urge to follow influencers ๐๐ป

Deleted since July for mental peace. Spoiler alert: probably the best decision I made for myself in the last 4-5 years!

Itโs been 2 months I disconnected from that shit.

I left it 2 years ago. Made my account private. I still have the app on my phone, which I open once/twice in a month( in case any news articles require me to open Insta). I leave the app immediately once I get the required info. No scrolling and no searching! The best decision I ever took.

On the journey ๐ค

Instagram algorithm sucks actually, when you subscribe/follow to the content, it should show that content only but due to instagram shitty algo, it shows trending content only. This is not with youtube shorts.

Whenever someone wants to make a โchangeโ to their lives, this is the first piece of advice I will give anybody.
Instagram is that hot girl/guy in school whom everybody would go gaga for but is actually a dumbass when you get to know them

Same here. I didnโt use Instagram for 4 years during my college time, and to be honest, it was the best phase.

Me who uninstalled insta 2 yrs back and now using that time to sleep rather then upskilling

still better than scrolling Instagram
