Jupiter Collapsing ?

What is the current state of Jupiter, I have heard a lot of people from higher position resigning. Pms are being fired that just joined recently, from Dunzo and from Swiggy.

A lot of people being laid off. Poor or no hike and not even deserving people got the promotion.

Their credit cards were seem just a scam. Just burned of the funding in vain. Data leak and privacy is a major issue.

I have heard wrong people are given the decision making power here.

Will it be worth if someone join Jupiter now for at least next 1 year ? or just a miserable startup that just failed.

Didn’t Anuj Rathi recently bail from there and move to Cleartrip as their CEO?

Yes joke for jupiter

He was asked to leave Jupiter, and phased out from Swiggy before.

How did Anuj Rathi get duped into joining in the first place? Goes to show that founders are the best at creating hype out of thin air. Convinced him to leave IPO-bound Swiggy and then fires all his staff after 6 months lol.

That speaks more about the sad state of affairs at Swiggy, rather than Jupiter.

Bro I have seen your comments on so many other posts too - you rarely make sense. This speaks more about the sorry talent at Swiggy , than Rathi leaving

My flatmate who works here says-

"Stay away"

MagicalUnicorn

Yeah hearing same from its employees, its a SINKING SHIP.

"There's still hope" is what I hear from a few friends who work there. Jitendra will probably raise funds and pivot again. Maybe loans are the future for them. But it's gloomy. Staying away is the smart thing to do.

A lot of diff fintech apps provide loans, if that is the only usp then why add useless features too. Would be hard for it to compete with other companies.

At this point they're grabbing straws. Cc, loans, mutual funds, digital gold (? I don't know anything about this). Itna paisa utha liya hai, 4-5 saal laga diye hain to company to chalana hi hai.

The head of growth - Narang is an ultra toxic leader - have heard from so many friends of mine. A woman who used to work there in his team told me - he is abusive.

Too many product leaders, so too many ego clashes.

I like the brand, and hope it doesn’t sink.

They had launched a useful feature of analysing portfolios and have stopped that too.

It surprises me how many people decide to work for a business that virtually has no way of making money. Take ESOPs too here.

Not surprised. Most of the Indian startup ecosystem's early growth companies are gonna get such posts on GV.

How is Jupiter doing?

I have read that they are burning a lot of money. But I still see them hiring. Have they laid people off recently? Current employees shed some light on what’s happening internally.

Jupiter - Top management exits

Heard Anuj (CPO) is leaving soon, and that they have had multiple exits this year. Is it not doing well?

If I'm not wrong they just started working in a very huge office recently.

Jupiter laid off their CPMO

CPMO is being let go less than 1 year since he joined Jupiter. Is it a sign of broader layoffs at Jupiter or was it for performance issues that he is being fired? Anyone with insider insights here?
