TCS bribing for hire scam
Is this practise common tech and IT sector and any details on how this works?
Do they really do this , please let me know how do they do this 😄👏
Was’t TCS caught doing same just last year only. I think it is a well known practice specifically in big MNCs
Not recruiters working for the company, but the agencies do. This is slowly being done-with, but previously your average SBC wouldn’t bother interviewing all candidates.
They’d outsource (ironic) the initial selection and aptitude to these agencies who would do the first round of filtering. For experienced candidates, these agencies would also take the first round of interview.
After this, they’d charge a “fee” to “polish your resume”, “trial interviews”, “administration charges” to continue further and only then let you get into the company.
There is a declaration post-joining and a channel to report such malpractices in most companies. The repercussions of an employee getting caught or a vendor being caught is too high for them to indulge in this.
Anyway the company that is hiring through agencies pays a sizeable sum for agencies to not do this. If an HR a individual is doing this and is caught, their entire career is ruined.
