Career plateau

I've been working at the same company for 4.5 years and while I feel the growth has been satisfactory, I feel my career has hit a wall. I'm aware of the layoff situation in the market and extreme grateful that I still have a job, but after almost 10 years of professional experience, I've come to realize that a good working environment pays off in the long run. Now, I have that in my current company. But should I consider a switch?
