With world's highest wealth and income inequalities, is it wonder that we are a struggling nation?

Inequalities in India have been climbing since the 80s and peaked by 2015, stayed flat for few years, but again started to climb post COVID!! This isn't about BJP Congress, Hindu Muslim or anything else. A group of powerful families and the top 1% are hijacking all the resources and productivity gains of our people, more than any other major country of our comparison.

AI gave some gyan that is to the point

I was testing an AI model and i couldn't think of a good prompt right away so i just wrote that give me some good gyan that will liberate myself and humanity. What it gave was simply to the point, if all points are followed, you won't come back to AI to ask anything else. 😂 Here is its answer: Sure! Here’s some timeless wisdom (gyan) that can help in different aspects of life: ### 1. **Embrace Change**: Life is constantly changing, and resisting change only brings frustration. The more you adapt, the easier it becomes to grow. Flexibility is key to resilience. ### 2. **Practice Gratitude**: Gratitude shifts your focus from what you lack to what you have. It can transform mundane moments into something meaningful and help you appreciate the present. ### 3. **Balance Effort and Surrender**: Work hard for your goals but recognize that not everything is in your control. Sometimes, letting go and trusting the process is just as important as the effort you put in. ### 4. **Your Thoughts Become Your Reality**: The mind is powerful. What you focus on grows. Cultivate positive, empowering thoughts to shape a better reality. ### 5. **Failures Are Stepping Stones**: Failure isn’t the opposite of success; it's part of it. Every setback is an opportunity to learn and improve. Keep moving forward without letting failures define you. ### 6. **Value Relationships**: People matter more than things. Invest time and effort into meaningful relationships. Whether it’s family, friends, or colleagues, authentic connections bring deep fulfillment. ### 7. **Self-Reflection is Crucial**: Regularly evaluate your actions, thoughts, and goals. Self-awareness leads to growth, and understanding yourself better helps you make more aligned choices. ### 8. **Health is Wealth**: Your body and mind are your most valuable assets. Take care of them through proper nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being. When you’re healthy, everything else becomes easier. ### 9. **Detach from Outcomes**: While it’s important to have goals, becoming too attached to specific outcomes can lead to disappointment. Focus on the process instead, and let life unfold naturally. ### 10. **Kindness is Power**: Being kind doesn’t mean being weak. It’s a strength that creates positive ripples in the world. Small acts of kindness can transform people’s lives and, in turn, your own. ### 11. **Live in the Present**: The past is gone, and the future is uncertain. The only thing you truly have is the present moment. Make the most of it by being mindful and fully engaged in whatever you’re doing. ### 12. **Don’t Compare Your Journey**: Everyone’s path is unique. Comparison only leads to dissatisfaction and self-doubt. Focus on your own growth and celebrate your progress, however small. ### 13. **Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication**: Life doesn't have to be complicated to be fulfilling. Simplify your routines, declutter your mind, and focus on what truly matters. ### 14. **Continuous Learning**: Knowledge is infinite. Never stop learning, whether it's through books, experiences, or people. Being a lifelong learner keeps your mind sharp and your perspectives fresh. ### 15. **Forgiveness is Freedom**: Holding onto grudges only hurts you. Forgiving others, and yourself, frees you from the burden of resentment and allows you to move forward with peace. ### 16. **Trust Yourself**: Your intuition is often wiser than you realize. Trust your instincts, even if you don’t have all the answers. Self-confidence comes from knowing that you are capable of navigating life's challenges. These are just a few nuggets of wisdom, and they can serve as reminders to stay grounded, mindful, and open to life’s experiences.

Pyramid scheme scam

Okay, so this happened to me last year. I was approached by a college alumni (got my number from college alumni group) who told me he had a side business going on which was leading him to earn more money than his corporate job and that he was going to leave the corporate for his “business”. I was initially not interested but he was insistent and also I was looking to explore some options (may be my naïveté) that I asked him more and so he setup a call with his senior to explain more about this “business”. Now this senior gave all sorts of gyaan regarding how to reach financial independence and picking up on the general mindset of how to make more money. They asked to create a list of 10 things that I desired the most at the point of time which could be solved with more money. I complied thinking it was a good exercise (again, I was a big fool). Now I was connected with another senior who gave all sorts of gyaan regarding how I could make more money and lead to financial independence. Please note, during all this time I was constantly asking what the business idea was and how it would be achieved but got no response on the details and only white washing regarding how I should be prepared to do anything to achieve my dreams. Now, it was revealed that I would need to put in 5L as investment to get bigger returns. Since I did not have that money in handy, I was suggested to get a personal loan through their agents. Also not to inform this to parents because they won’t understand this stuff and get “worried”. Luckily I did went with their suggestion and informed my parent about it. Thinking it was a startup idea, I got the investment from my father through an OD in my name. Now we get onto a call two days later, where they reveal the company QNet and makes me purchase 5L of stuff from their website and explained the business model which was to get other people from your knowing to buy products from this company and get commissions on the sale.
