The absolute farce that is Indian startups at Davos

I've been scrolling through LinkedIn posts of Indian founders at Davos, and I just can't take it anymore. Know what they're there for? To sign MOUs. With Indian state governments. In fucking Switzerland. This shows everything that's wrong with our system right now. We're literally flying people halfway across the world to do something that should happen in an office in Bangalore. And everyone's pretending this is normal? While China quietly built DeepSeek - real, groundbreaking AI that's competing globally - we're watching SkyRoot fly to Davos to sign papers with Telangana. TELANGANA. A space tech company had to leave India to get 15 minutes with their own state government. I've seen enough of this bullshit to call it what it is: a complete waste wrapped in Swiss packaging. Every hour wasted on this Davos circus is an hour not spent building actual tech. But heaven forbid our ministers do their jobs back home. What kind of messed up system makes startups fly to Switzerland to get attention from ministers? Why do our officials only work with a Swiss backdrop? This isn't just stupid - it shows exactly how our system works against anyone trying to build something real. Here's what pisses me off most: We'll keep asking why India isn't creating breakthrough tech. Why we're falling behind. Meanwhile, our officials are practicing their Davos small talk instead of fixing things back home. I'm done watching this circus. Either fix this broken system or stop pretending we care about innovation. Because right now? We're just moving our red tape to better weather.
