Section 69 of the new Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita has provision for up to 10 years' jail for sexual relationships by deceit, including on the pretext of marriage. Men of GV, do you see any upside in getting married?
I mean, i simply don’t see any upside to getting married as a guy. It’s a thing society expects you to do, without explaining why. For me, i don’t see life becoming better post marriage. Yes companionship is a good answer but does not hold up considering you don’t need to get married for that. (If you need to force someone legally to be your companion, you pretty much know what it looks like). Put another way: What would a woman need to bring to the table for marriage to be worthwhile to you? (Talking about traditional heterosexual marriages only)
