Unacademy is running a fraud biz
I'm a current employee at Unacademy and work with one of the founder's biz. We have a lot of financial & biz irregularities going on currently that it's not even funny 1. Hired 80-100 folks at low packages and silently laying off people every month on the name of performance issues, just to avoid severance 2. We are forced to do events 3-4 times a month at exotic hotels such as Taj, Oberoi, Hilton, Lalit in different cities. The motive of these events is to promote the product. However it ends up becoming a monthly vacation scene for the founder because he travels to all the events but barely attends them for more than 10min 3. Nobody keeps a tab of the ROI that's driven from these events. This biz has spent close to 6-8Cr in the last 12 months. 4. The entire business team acts as an events team every month and loses focus on the actual business. They are then laid off next month 5. This biz has also been publicly sharing the confidential revenue numbers of the partners with internal and external folks. They literally have a slack channel to track things when all of this is illegal. 6. GMV numbers for this biz is fudged and shared internally to save the image of the founder because this is the sole business he runs. Please advise me what to do. I want to whistle blow this.
