Worst day at work today. Feel like ending it all.
Ever since I have come back this week from Diwali break, it feels like I made a fucking mistake going back home and taking multiple days off last week.
My manager is intentionally putting too much on my plate, while other peers are just chilling and laughing at me. Now, he is saying that we're running late on timelines because of me and I am a disgrace. He is laughingly mentioning to me that he will fire me.
I have a history of clinical depression and bipolar disorder, this is triggering me a lot and I can't sleep really well at night. I feel like ending it all and leaving this company for good. I have savings worth 12 months of living expense.
Is anyone else facing similar issues after coming back from Diwali?

Get HR involved ASAP

HR most of the time sides with senior management. Wouldn't trust HR.

There’s a simple rule every manager worth their salt learns very early on - never joke about firing anyone.
You should gather proof this has happened and approach HR immediately. If the company is serious, they will let go of the manager.

Please quit and find another job even if it comes with a pay cut. Your life is more valuable than a job.

Hold on, do not leave in haste I have had a similar situation, I was out for a month due to Chikungunya
When I came back, none of my work had been touched. All deadlines are still to be met, and all files are to be made. I am working till 9am-10 pm every day of the week, 6 days. Commuting for 3 hours on that
I did finish all the work on time, and gave my papers (about 20 days later) They didn’t accept. I shared all these with boss' boss, not pinpointing but saying the environment created was shit.
Things improved drastically well after that.

He has threatened to fire you. Akele tuu kyu darega re ? Atleast make the culprit uncomfortable. Firing has been threatened - these are taken seriously. Forget ratings through

This phase shall pass, Stay Strong 💪
you're unlucky to have to face this crap, take care of yourself. there was a recent incident where a sbc employee got cardiac arrest due to somereason, they later fired him quoting some absurd logic, now he's trying to blow up on LinkedIn to get help.
He's crossed his lines, make sure to have a record of whatever next conversations you have with him.
Try to get a colleague or a work place friend in your side.
Next time he says he will fire you jokingly tell him
'Haha can you pit that on mail'
See his colors change after you've stood up for yourself.

As im working in Capgemini immediately report to HR they will take strict action if the manager is threatening you

If was having 12 months of savings, I would leave without second thoughts
