AR seems more interesting than VR

More so in India, because the entry cost of VR is slightly higher as headset is required to use it. Kind of like headphones. AR is simple enough and widely accessible.

Other than immersive video games, what are some use-cases where VR is better choice than AR?

Damn. I work in AR. Intensively using it in my projects. It's very fun.

I used Oculus Quest and it’s insane.

We kinda like have this Higher Management wish that they wanted to use AR/VR. They wanted to outsource it. I already had experience in AR/VR. Pushed them to do it in house. I use it for industrial manufacturing purposes. It's fun I didn't even think I could use it for these purposes it has been fun.

I have personally worked in both the fields. AR and VR. For our case AR sells more. It has more advantages to us. We are also looking into the possibility of Digital Twin.

Was previously working with AR/VR- Most of the projects were from Dubai, US etc because we could bill them more. Indian companies mostly preferred AR cause it was accessible but they didn’t wish to pay much too.
Workspace is super exciting as we had VR headsets at office and we get to view and play games on them for testing. Also a super creative area. The creation of VR interface- both backend and frontend was super challenging but it was all worth it when you see the end result.
