Work life balance vs work life integration

I've recently heard the term work life integration where you blend work & personal life to allow flexibility & incorporate work even in personal times.

Does that seem fair?

Personal developments matter as much as professional ones right?

Integrate the shit out of it🔄
Hell no, balance🕉

This capitalistic society will sell you n number of concepts to ensure you spend all your time working, spend your free time spending that money, and ultimately hit a mid life crisis if there is any free thought left in you

Otherwise the cycle continues

There's a bit of a nuance that needs to be considered here. Different things suit different people. Just because something doesn't suit someone, it does not mean it's a sales pitch of a capitalistic society.

I mean having a personal life would also improve mental health which will in turn boost productivity. Some people are just hell bent on not believing about having a balance between work & life. They believe disruptive ideas can only be created from extreme hard work, long hours, 6 days & being married to work.

I tried explaining work life integration to my 3 yo when she wanted me to take her to the park. Didn't work.

Anyone who preaches you to take office shit home in any form or manner (Hustle Culture, WL integration, Dedication and All nighters) wants nothing but harm upon you. They are your direct enemies, and wish death upon you physically and mentally.
They want to tear your eyes, lungs and brains apart and feed it to dogs.

They simply don't care about you.

We work for money. Money can be earned, but what you cannot earn back is your precious time.
Your youth, your skills, your mental peace.

You. Matter.

I'm saying this because I sold my soul to my company just to advance in my career and my body literally gave me a near death scare.

Work Life balance matters.

I guess it depends on whether you live to work, or work to live.
