There are internal sources which confirm they had re-initiated conversations with RBI. But I haven't heard anything since then.

PAYTM Payments Bank essentially asked to shut shop.
Afaik here are the few implications
- Stock market will react in a bad way to them
- Worst affected are going to be FasTag users who bought from PayTM.
- No deposits / credits...

Adani - Paytm Talks?
How true is this? Can anyone who has inside info from Paytm confirm this? Something similar happened when RBI imposed restrictions in Feb and there were news articles of JioFin acquisition of Paytm. It was later ruled out as rumours.
