Why has suddenly everything around us started being negative

Generally speaking, I'm a little less happier than I was 5-6 years back. Is this the case with you folks too? Or am I overthinking/getting depressed?

When you are young you have some hopes and dreams about your life and future. That job, career, relationship, holiday, travel.

Then things don't go as per plan, you look at your friends, family, colleagues moving ahead. Social Media and extreme connectivity amplifies this feeling. You struggle with your thoughts and start feeling unhappy. It happens with everyone.

Things will become better though once you realise that you have a different path for every one of the things mentioned above. The other thing is that your have to purge yourself of envy and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Always think of the privileges that you have. Most people on this platform are in the top 5% of the income bracket in India. Some older people are already in the Top 1%.

If you have a loving family and you are healthy and decent prospects, rethink what you feel and thank your stars for the life you have

Cheers
