Tbh don’t know when to mentally checkout from work even if done physically. All the more horror if on call. People who can afford to spend more time on work, just do and spoil it for rest as that’s what becomes the status quo.


Logged off at 4 30 last night, woke up at 9 again to work. Really want the start up to start making some money. Don't wanna loose my job in this economy...

Working for a US corporation means that most meetings are towards the evening in India and leads to me being online till about 9pm on most days. One perk is that the workload isn't too much.

Start at 9:30-ish and work till 11 on most days. I take long breaks in between but mentally unable to check out because of this schedule and sporadic meetings throughout.
Quitting the job and moving to a hybrid workplace startup with a seemingly better culture. Let's see.

7 to 3 now , at 4 i leave for gym and only reply if any important pings post 9 PM . 10 sleep

Logging off work is just one side of the spectrum. It's not lucky to log off at 6 if one starts at 8:30 or 9.
