What's your opinion on the advice "Follow your passion" ?

Thousands of people want to make a choice and follow their passion in life. But the problem is they have to work extremely hard to first bring themselves into a position of choice. It takes them years or a lifetime to do this, and when finally they are in a position of making a choice, either they lack the energy or they don't have enough time. Modern world!

I agree with this . I myself am struggling

Don't know where it ends 😑

It's shitty advice. Read "So good they can't ignore you"

I have read it. But how do you become good at something you don't like doing?

If you've read the book, you should know

"Follow the money, leverage your passion" should be a good saying

Can you share an example of this approach?

Jumped into corporate with majors in biology and behavioural biology. Leveraged that

Passion used to be 'Suffer for a worthwhile cause'
You cannot know your passion until you get your hands dirty in a few jobs + think with your brain

Agree.. without exploring many things you can't be certain.. but deep down does everyone knows what would they do it they didn't have to care about money? Is it mostly chilling out?

I have listed many things I would do if I had lots of money. Small problem is that I don't have the money 🤑. So these things might remain a dream 😔

Works with reservation. If you have survival sorted, go behind your passion (with understanding that you might fail and look like a loser but will never die). Or do a timed thingy- 3 years or I am out type. Blindly running behind something is foolish. Its not necessary that you would be good at something you passionate about.
