What's an Assam teak wood used in bed

Hello when I visit local furniture shops to purchase a solid wood bed then they often say it's made of Assam Teak wood. Now the price which they quote is usually very cheap around Rs 10k for a queen size bed without storage. When I ask for real Teak wood then it's in the range of Rs 30 to 40k Has anyone purchased an Assam Teak wood or gone through such wood? So what's an Assam Teak wood. By its term it appears to be sourced from the state of Assam. What's the reality
