I can sleep in late save commute, dress up time have fresh, hot food do not pretend to work don't have to make random small talks, water-cooler gossips wear whatever, eat wherever, poop whenever

Bangalore traffic. Colossal and criminal waste of time & mental torture thinking about the waste of time.
I want to save money. I was easily saving almost 80-90% salary when I was doing WFH now it <40%
Commute in India is awful. Both time taken and experience. If you have your own vehicle it's somewhat manageable put still pathetic. If not, it's hell.
To feel less of a slave 🤷🏻♂️
I travel 42 kms one-way to reach office, change 3 trains to get there. It takes me 1.5 hours. I can complete my daily tasks in that time and then chill/learn something the rest of the time... but no. The org feels that working from office is better when it comes to co-ordination so I have to travel for 3 hours daily 😞😞😞
- Medical problems my parent faced recently
- Saving on rent by not moving to a different city altogether
- More time in hand(due to no traveling) to learn stuff if i finish the task early
- End up saving much more.
- Can stay with family.
- Save commute time. I open my PC at 10:30 for a 10:30 meeting.
- Exercise regularly. Much easier to plan a schedule when at home.
- Able to do something else when work is not hectic or urgent. Also, flexible work, incase kabhi mood nhi hua.
- Afternoon naps🥱.
There are some disadvantages too, like there's no passive learning and all. But I am active in terms of learning things, and in WFH I get time to do that. So it cancels out I guess.
