What is your relationship with risk?

When I was in college - I had nothing to lose - I used to make attempts that would result in failure and rejection of some kind every week

As I got a decent job it got much more embarrassing to fail or get rejected so I just gave up on trying riskier things

This is typically how potential goes to die

I agree, the cost of taking risks is much higher at my age (31) now, but the cost of not taking risks is also quite quite high

I want to break out of this cycle. Take on more risk. Wanted to see if people here had any advice about their relationship with risks
