WFH Jugaad
Hi People,
How can I ask HR for WFH extension? My company deploys hybrid structure but I asked the manager for WFH extension due to grandma's health issue. My grandma underwent a surgery past month but she not that serious health wise and doesn't need home care. The Manager and HR is stringent on me to work from office and HR is asking me to provide documents to submit.
What should i do in this case as I don't want to WFO and need WFH?

Fake medical certificates
Will they verify those certificates? What if I got caught? Will they terminate me?
I wont recommend this. I submitted a medical certificate due to MY issue and my company verified it from their side doctor before approving my WFH extension. My company too followed a hybrid model at that time.
It boils down to how strict the company is, that will determine how far they will go. So OP, think before u proceed. If your case is really genuine, then don't worry abt whether they will verify or not.. Else, atleast get a doctor to word the certificate in such a way that any other doctor will say you need to be there with your grandma.
