Weight lifting

Hey peeps I have recently started lifting weights - deadlifts, press, sumo deadlifts & gradually increasing the weights & reps.

Only now my knees hurt after the workouts. I am not using a belt as yet but back is ok.

If you all lift weights & have reccos for a tried & tested knee caps / knee support do ping in comments.

Dead lifts are not supposed to hurt your knees. Change your posture or technique.

Not just deadlifts, sumo squats, BB front squats etc

Not an expert, but your lowerbody strength is less. I had injured myself while lifting. Had to end up doing physiotherapy and take supplements to recover.
Restarted with bodyweights stretching and mobility excercises. Still on recovery mode but painfree now. Can't lift weights yet, but my strength is improving.

Thanks for all suggestions
Spoke to the trainer - some posture correction, focussing on recovery should help

I'm currently at 50-55kg in lifting & hope to get to 70. Knee support & belt will help
