War of the music apps

I like how even Amazon employees forgot Amazon music exists

Only Apple music provides lossless or high fidelity streaming of music

All I need in a music streaming is all the songs I want to hear from old to new, different languages, bands from past and present. Only YTM has this feature. Every other platform won't have some music and that's a turn off for me. Worst imo is Amazon, and Apple.

That’s one reason why I left Spotify for YT Music. The other was just the value for money - it also helps get rid of the annoying ads on YouTube, which has become better and better at providing useful content (I search on it before searching on Google now for most things). Come a long way from when it was just the place to watch music videos etc.

After moving to YT Music, I found the AutoPlay works way better than Spotify. Spotify was really pushing covers down the throat - maybe to save on the royalty they need to pay for streaming of the mainstream artists’ songs. YT has years of algorithm from its free app in which millions of users have told it what songs go well together.

AM is great, but it’s not everywhere. The audio quality is phenomenal but lags behind features we take for granted from Spotify.
