Update - for anyone who was invested

I did talk to my boss after this post, told him I was not happy how my role had turned out

He allowed budget for 2 junior roles who would report to me, to get work done (it sounds good on paper but a pain in ass teaching those humans who don't even wanna listen)

However, he initiated conversation on my variable due (this will however hit accounts in June) and said we will have discussion on hike before month end

So looks like March is still very much here, but situation hasn't really changed. There are just promises floating around
