PIP is basically Performance Improvement plan. 1.Attend the meeting.Make sure the BPHR is joining the call. 2. Please ask every query you have in call. 3. DON'T just accept PIP blindly, ask for PIP goals. 4.Ask for your choices if you opt out of PIP.

5.please be inform that you will be put into a situation where you will be forced to take impulsive decision make sure you ask for time like(3-4 days) to respond and that's your right!

6.Ideally there two option accept PIP or if you don't then Voluntary Resignation with Notice pay.

7.Once you have accepted PIP things might be difficult depending upon your manager i.e You will have less scope for any negotiations or opting out of*(there are chances you can opt for resignation during PIP but it's totally depends on BP HR and Manager) Sorry choose wisely

Make sure you have all the questions ready with written notes and you ask the answer questions and their answers in writing. First of all dont Panic. Worst will happen that you will have to resign without a job. all also djd that and trust me there is nothing wrong at all. Yesterday I had a conversation with my BP HR manager, who had been very strict during my conversation with him during PIP discussion and now after resignation he is talking in a very friendly way, which indicates that there is nothing wrong with you and they have their own targets to act that way to downsize people. All the best .
