Trending @Infosys; How much time will manager take to retain a employee

Hi,

Tech lead with 15lpa salary with 8+ years of experienc. I got 70% hike from a mid level company and 2 offers in pipe line. I have resigned last week.

My manager called me immediately and asked me about retaining and onsite as iam critical resource in my project.

What are ur thoughts regarding this. Will they retain me? If they do so, what % hike can i expect from them??

Please suggest

Retention hike budget is too low at Infy, Expect anywhere around 15 to 20% as proposed retention hike and not more than that. The same was given to me which I rejected and am currently serving notice period.

Correct. I got 20% retention hike. I took it because i have the option of permanent wfh.

There is no fixed time or duration around it. Defintely they won’t be able to match 70%. On-site is a carrot I would say don’t take. Going to mid sized service company is a risk. So I would say you should negotiate for a more realistic 30-35 % hike here
