Trending @Infosys; Escalation. Need guidance

So one story carried over in my last sprint and my offshore reporting called me. He heard me, and told me he was just asking me what exactly happened and why it carried over. I took the responsibility and told him it was my bad with the requirement and I missed one part.

I am working with the client ~2 years now and with Infosys also ~2 years.

How does this impact on me?

So far I did a good job and got appreciation all the time. This time I missed something and owned the mistake.

Have given lot of billing to my account by interviewing good resources and they cracked the client interview (~10 resources), before client interview have groomed them with lot of mock interviews was the reason.

So my question is will they put into PIP with just one mistake, though my manager said it is not an escalation but I don't trust manager's words(been there done that).

Any suggestions?

Stop getting worried. 1 story spillover in 2 years and you are getting worked up. We spillover something every sprint. Without spill over what is the fun in agile

I thought spill over is a common thing. We have spill overs every sprint.

Be cool man. Until the client sends an email as an escalation to our delivery manager it's completely safe.

Be cool and work

Bro my client gives me escalation everyday
If you are looking for a long term stay with infy it might matter like 1 or 2 percent to infosys but you’ve been associated with them for 2+ years so it it good Also leave infosys its been 2 years man they will start bothering you sooner or later if you are not onsite.
