I checked directly with my manager yesterday on hikes and promotions. He said bulk promotions have been postponed to June but the hike will be there even if 1% but everyone will get a hike.

But what do they mean by the first line that is other than for our promotions up to L8 in the advanced technology and operations centers in India? It is not applicable for India and other mentioned countries then?
