Trending @Accenture; I have put down my papers and last working day is 27th may. My manager has given me a feedback stating i have been added in PIP

All lame reasons are given. My concern is do they stop salary in this period

Would this affect fnf or variable pay in any way. My LWD is June 4

When you are on notice period you won't receive variable pay

Got it, thanks for letting me know. And what about fnf, will the PIP have any impact on it?

Why they do this? Can anyone explain me? Does same thing happen to everyone who put down the papers?

Thats the process from last 2 years

The reason is to save existing people who are in project. Not that you actually deserve the PIP.

Nice. Ask them for an early release now.

Managers get some quota for promotion and some numbers to share the bottoms one.. since individuals are on notice, so managers try to save the existing resources by giving PIP to individuals who are leaving.. just to safe gaurd team.. so in every team those who are leaving around performance cycle might have been put on PIP

Are we allowed to reapply in Accenture after few years incase they put us in PIP after resignation?

When you are in notice period, the manager should not keep PIP ,if you are working no escalations in project write a mail to HR

Will that work

That’s not entirely accurate, delivery manager can put you in PIP any time he wants

Will there be any problem with the background verification while switching to a new company? Because there should not be any negative feedback like he or she was in PIP while leaving.

Not sure on that

Basically companies dont call HR right they call the ppl whose no you give for verfication

Few things to consider

  1. Atleast 10% of resource must get PIP in each DU. So its easier to give PIP to someone who has nothing to loose like you leaving organisation. So u r a safe bet.

  2. By giving PIP to you, your manager is saving someone in the team. Atleast save someone who atleast know the project environment and staying in the project. (This time PIP means out of organisation unless your manager decides to rollback.)

  3. By giving you an PIP, he is justifying the attrition from his team, stating he is a non-worker

So dont worry even if you get PIP, company womy create issue if you reapply to accentute after few years..

It’s same for all who put down papers… I also got the same feedback… My TL told me that it’s company policy and told me to not mind the words she has used😆… Lol… She gave 500 words of negative feedback… But I don’t care…I am happy that I am leaving this shit company who just exploit people with low wages
