Treatment for ADHD
I'm a 34 year old male and I've been clinically diagnosed with ADHD. I'm looking for treatments (medication and therapy) in Hyderabad. Any suggestions for a psychiatrist?
@MusuMusuHaasi Trust me, these treatments are just to release the suppressed happy hormones in your body to make you feel good. I am a major in psychology and can tell you - please give yourself more time rather than any therapist.
This is quite opposite to all the research and publications I've read. What do you mean by give yourself time? I was diagnosed in Nov 2023 so it's been 1.5yrs already and if I developed this in childhood then some 30 odd years. How does it get better over time?
I have an attention span that last a few minutes. Looking back, I was always like this but now it's started to impact my work. Have you been diagnosed with OCD?
