To choose between corporate or govt job

Hi everyone, Right now I am working in a MNC earning 8 lpa with 2 yrs of experience. I appeared for a govt exam and i cleared it so my salary there will be around 55k starting. I am confused between which life to choose -

IT with no job security and work life balance but awesome pay and increment by switching companies.
Govt job with job security plus great work life balance but no increment and less pay.

Please share your thoughts as I don't have much experience to decide

I think you should go for govt job. In the worst case scenario if you don’t like it you can always re-enter the private sector but vice versa won’t be possible.
