I didn’t watch S1 except a few clips on YouTube. Started watching S2 episode for one episode in which a founder I’m connected on LinkedIn with was appearing. Had already seen so many posts about Recode and Flatheads, so wanted to check out their pitches too.
As I watched these episodes, I started liking the show for the variety of companies! I’m less focused on the behaviour of Sharks, and I believe they mean well. What we see is heavily edited anyway. There’s a LinkedIn post that explains how pitches go on for a few hours and only parts of that are showed. I keep that picture in mind.
I appreciate the opportunity to learn about all these unique businesses and their founders that I wouldn’t have found out about otherwise.
Sastha Tank’s more better than Shark Tank.
It’s good entertainment but that’s all there is to it for me.
