The funniest incident at work...

Incidents happen when Christmas parties occur, especially if the company has a pub down below. We once had a lady at work, single, who had obvious intentions. You can't say it in 2024, but in 2013, she was physically involved with many people at once.

Once the beer started flowing, she handled quite a few guys back in the office. Albeit it being disgusting, no one really thought any of it.

She got off on it, the poor guys who were too drunk, so drunk, all their hurdles lowered, and take a guess, lack of sex, pretty woman at work. Sex during drunk Christmas parties is common. I have seen relationships break there.

Result in January?

1. One guy had his relationship broken as he stayed overnight with the girl.. and his wife didn't want him back. He became an alcoholic, and lost his job. Very sad.
2. a bunch got STDs.
3. and the girl got pregnant.

Truth be told, the girl wasn't pregnant from anyone in the office, but man did she make hearts go tick a bit faster once she mentioned that she was pregnant while in your head you had a list (guy A/B/C and D) have done her. People started to worry, haha!!

Since she went on maternity leave, she never returned. Happily married and left her “crazy” shit behind her. I’m sure she has fond memories of my old company. I am still once a year or so in touch with her when she sends birthday wishes.

And the Christmas parties where the “easy, low level” kind of a thing throughout the years leading up to 2016. Christmas party shenanigans were more for the “junior” folks who didn’t have as much expertise as the rest of us. Senior folks had crazy drink nights, insane hotel suites and so much money flying around. Fun nonetheless.
