Tax refund question

Hey all, I did not work from August 2023-August 2024, i joined a new organisation where in from September 2024-March2025 around (60000) TDS was deducted from salary. Also, i opted for new tax regime. Will i get tax refund of the tds I have paid or is it just paid to government?

Note: I was unemployed for 1 year entire for the duration i mentioned, no source of income(failed startup)
