Let porche make in India to avoid the 125% tax and few other indirect taxes . The intention of hefty custom duty is to "MAKE IN INDIA" , aren't you in favour to India ?
Yet Porsche sold 1000+ cars in india for 2024 their highest ever figure, even lamborghini sold 100+ cars.
If govt had sensible tax rates they'd sell 10000 Porsches and get more taxes cumulatively.
