Switching to Startup
I have around 2YOE as a Software Engineer, working at JPMorgan.
Ive always wanted to work at a startup, as I am constantly on the lookout for challenging sw dev work and the thrill that challenges bring. Along with sw dev, Im great at presentation and even design. At my company, Ive also worked on hosting and managing events in addition to my role as a SWE, not sure if this helps but just mentioning it here. I consider myself great at sw dev, and wont shy away from a challenge.
Looking to make the jump to a startup now, fine to go with something matching my current compensation as long as there is prospective growth in the near future depending on performance.
Please advice me on how to proceed, things to keep in mind, where to look for jobs.
I am not interested to switch to any other big company for the sole purpose of more money as I want to live a life where I feel I have done something which has impacted peoples lives.

Startups will have more work but you will learn new skills
To transition to a startup, tailor your resume for impact-driven roles, highlight your skills in development, design, and event management, and also you should actively network through LinkedIn, AngelList, and startup communities. You can prioritize companies aligning with your values and growth goals.

Any possibility for a referral in JP Morgan for SDE roles?

Pleaseeeeee give me suggestions. Even a little help from your side will help me in this journey
