Students are such IDIOTS

I wanted to title this 'Interns' are idiots, but actually it's just 99% of the people that apply to internships are so frikking brain dead.

When the hiring post CLEARLY says email your resume + profile to be considered, why the hell do they DM their resume and say "Please consider me".

You're literally the last person I will consider, you are unable to comprehend basic tasks.

And 99% of these IDIOTS are Engineers. Unsure why everyone gives them so much respect, calling them "natural" problem solvers. And no, these aren't just tier 2 colleges. IITs, NITs, BITS - ALL!

All the times I've opened up applications for interns over the last few years, it's been THE SAME case.

Some (approximate) Stats:

70% send an application for a totally unrelated role. 60% don't clear one very clear, important criteria, yet still send in an application completely ignorant to the fact 80% don't format or communicate well over email.

I won't comment on English proficiency, since that is very dependent on school and not everyone can afford schools that have credible teachers.

The next generation is not going to make it. They will not be picked over AI, can't think of many entry level jobs that can't be replaced in the next 2 years.

I would say the tough job market makes them desperate. But nothing justifies this behaviour.
