Do people like this really exist? If you have personal commitments, why come to work? Don’t you have a conscience and feel guilty about stealing credit for others’ work? Nowadays, there are many posts related to stopping gender-based reservations. Is it because of situations like this?
I believe you need to make efforts to get due recognition. If you are critical and she cannot present without you then you can stop working after 11 pm ist, if that's not the option then start looping customers and internal stakeholders while sharing those ppts but somehow you should make an effort to get the recognition. such people grow faster leaving hardworking and genuine people like you behind and then causing frustration and anger.

• I am planning to send the updates but not give her the gyan of what I’ve done throughout the day, so she won’t have enough details to present to the stakeholders. • I started sending the final outcomes directly to my reporting manager, looping her in. • I also spoke with my manager one-on-one, sharing my screen to show how this is happening regularly. I showed him all the emails I’ve sent, the meetings she schedules during PST, and how it ends up looking like her contribution at the end of the day. He advised me not to extend my workday past 11 PM and to keep him in the loop on all email communications.
Now i am thinking she will cook something against me for sure😃😃😃

Don't fight for recognition. Doesn't mean anything. As long as you're happy with work and pay, you're fine. Ignore her.
This don’t work for long run. you will be the one losing your credibility at the end of the day. if not today but someday. people never care about your hardwork, you will only be appreciated for the output you give. if its your hardwork then nobody else deserves the appreciation claps but only you.

Recognition doesn't mean shit in the real world buddy, no one cares how many clients you handled or what you did for them in your last job. Even you're going to forget most of the work you did over time.

It's stupid to jeopardize your job just for your bosses and colleagues to know what a good job you're doing. If you weren't doing your job, you wouldn't be there in the first place or you won't last long.
I think many have responded with similar thoughts. Adding more points- The most easiest thing to do to get noticed (tried and tested) is to speak up in presentations. Your agenda should to be present the work you did … if she’s not on board to allow you to present, you can suggest that you can take alternate weeks to present. Consolidate your plan, show roadmaps and present. Do not share this ppt until the day you are presenting. Be very confident in your work.

If I were you, I will find the next important meeting day and will go on leave couple of days before without preparing the presentation.So she cannot do this without you. Then things will change for you. If you do this thing one more time. Then mostly your problem will be resolved.
I tried that option as well, 🤣 i told her my granny passed away, taking emergency leave for 4 days.. she was like “My deepest condolences, but can you send the decks before you log off and give me the background.. project timeline is critical , i have back to back meetings with project, dont have time for all these”. I dono what those meetings are
😂😂. But u made a small mistake over there, u could have left for the day and then should have dropped an email about your unavailability for the next couple of days due to so and so reason.

One thing I can understand is that she don't give credit to you. You better setup one meeting with her one to one and explain her. If she listens and changes her way...fine Else Better come out as soon as possible.
You will have a good Project and managers in other places
Keep your reporting manager or team lead in all the email updates. You can share the work done by you with them. For sure recognition motivates you to keep working.
It's common bro one of teammate usually ask me what are you doing and she copies the work I did and show it like done by her but everyday she will ask me what we need to do, I won't say nothing but since the platform we use is common she will simply copy my work, even during status call while I try to explain what I did she will also start speaking like I will done this while I'm speaking.
Why tell her in the first place?
This is not how we think here, the so called level hierarchies here in org is different, they trust long term dudes than new ones or oursiders..

I will give you one important tip. Do not reveal too many things to anyone , especially on Functional Knowledge . Be it your colleague or manager. Limit the details shared . Keep a dependency in team. You will definitely get the importance
