Strange sleep problem
For the last 2–2.5 years, I have been facing a very strange problem. Whenever I sleep alone and try to fall asleep between around 2 AM and 4 AM, something unusual happens. Within a few minutes of trying to sleep, I start feeling strong vibrations and a buzzing sound in my head.
After that, I feel like I am lying on the bed but I cannot move my body at all. It feels like I am awake because I can see everything around me, but I am unable to move or speak properly. During this state, if I think about any person, I immediately start hearing their voice very clearly.
This experience scares me a lot because it feels like something is pulling me out of my body and I worry that I might not wake up again. Since my mouth feels closed and I cannot shout, I try to make a “hmm… hmm…” sound from my throat so that someone in my room or another room can hear me and wake me up. Sometimes the sound helps me wake myself up.
Even if I manage to wake up, if I try to sleep again within a minute, the same thing happens again.
This mostly happens when I sleep alone and especially when I go to sleep late. Yesterday it scared me a lot because I could literally hear my wife talking very clearly while I was in that state.
Another strange thing is that it does not feel random. If I lie down between around 2–3 AM and keep my mind calm and focused, it almost happens immediately, almost 100% of the time.
This problem feels very strange and frightening for me. I would really appreciate any guidance on what might be happening to me.

The symptoms pretty much sums up sleep paralysis condition with hallucinations. I have experienced this only once in my life when on a random day while i was sleeping i couldnt understand if i was awake or sleeping as you said one could see everything but cant move cant speak. The hearing of sounds didnt happen with me but mostly its hallucinations .
Dont need to worry about this , its nothing life threatnening.
What you need to do:
Maintain you habit of sleeping before 12 am. Fix you sleep cycle and get atleast 6 hours of sleep Try be less stressed and dont think about anything before going to sleep.
And lastly if it happens too much, consult a neurologist.
Dont worry, You just need to fix your habits and routine.
