I am not able to provide much information about that.but one of my tech buddy from Hyderabad has been approached by a mediator who was a former recruiter in big G. They are catfishing people who are applying for the position before the actual recruitment process starts.

I faced the same thing. Surprisingly, I got a call from the Google HR directly and still faced similar shit, full on biased hiring.
