Society incident advice needed

Hello folks, I want advice as I am faced with predicament. In a society which is still maintained by builder, the flat below me has got water leaking through their wall. The issue is because of some leak in my flat’s bathroom. So the manager wants to remove the tiles and commode to rectify the problem. How do I take the guarantee that they will cover all the cost and make correct replacement ?

Its a fairly regular process man. Dont worry. They have to do a good job to arrest the leakage.

Also, folks, get your bathroom re grouted once 5 years or so. Its a basic courtesy to your neighbors below and goes a long way in arresting leakages.

It’s not just regrouting. They want to check pressure in pipe and stuff. So gonna break tile and open up. Looks major. So I want to ensure they do it well and without adding cost to me. I am unsure how to make sure it goes that way. Like getting something in written or just trust their word

No developer is going to give it to you in writing for such works. You have to trust them, no choice.
