Should I Resign Without an Offer? Facing Uncertainty in Java Dev Job Market – Need Insights!

Hi all,

I’m a Java backend developer (java , Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka) currently on the bench, and I’m considering resigning without an offer. I’m confident in my preparation, but here are my concerns:

  1. HR ghosting and delays in the hiring process. Is it too risky to resign now?

  2. My notice period is uncertain – could be 15 days or up to
3 months. If it’s shorter, I worry I won’t land an offer in. time.

  3. While I’m getting calls, companies seem to be dragging out actual hiring as I got info from others.

Has anyone faced similar issues recently? Would appreciate any advice on how to handle this situation!

Thanks in advance!
