Gel kayano is the right shoe for overpronation. Long time gel kayano user here. Very happy with the shoes, they are always some of the best rated ones in their category. Go for it.

There seem to be differing opinions on this thread. So posting some references as well. My pick is still gel kayano.

Gel Kayano are for those who have flat foot. If you don’t have that then don’t go for it. Better to go for cumulus (Value for money) or Novablast or Nimbus 26 (if you intend to run marathons)

Any recc for regular wear ?

Sorry, this info is just wrong. Gel kayano can be used for both overpronated and flat feet. Neither the cumulus nor the novablast are recommended for overpronators. And the nimbus is only recommended for minimal/mild overpronation.

If you don't have flat feet they go for Cumulus. I have it and I love running in it. The only issue is with their laces.

Get a skechers instead, lighter on the wallet, and quality is good. All these asics and hoka and nike brands cater to sheeple
