Should I create a second Naukri profile for different job locations?

I recently created a Naukri account and set my current location as Mumbai, with preferred locations as Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Bangalore. However, I’m mostly getting calls from Mumbai-based recruiters. As I’m early in my career, I’m open to relocating to any major city. I’m now considering creating a second account with a different email ID and setting my location as Bangalore or Delhi to attract recruiters from those cities. But I’m concerned about how recruiters might perceive this. If they find two profiles for the same person, could it create a negative impression? Has anyone here tried maintaining two Naukri profiles for different locations? If yes, did it help you get more calls, or did it backfire? I am looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice!

Your notice period is what scaring recruiters from giving a call. The less your notice period the more calls you get and even more if the skill you're working on is in demand.

Creating two accounts on Naukri could raise concerns about your credibility, as recruiters might view it as misleading. Instead, consider updating your existing profile to reflect your openness to relocating and specify the cities you're interested in within your preferences.

Mumbai has very limited opportunity. O would suggest you change the existing accounts location as Bangalore if you are a software Dev. It worked for me.

do share if it works. I tried it before, different place, different skillset. i hardly got any interview calls from naukri. if i apply for a 100 jobs, i would get 1 call. i always thought its my skill set issue.
