Resigning without an offer in hand

I’m done with my job! I’m burnt out and I don’t feel excited when I get up in the morning. It feels terrible and I don’t care about money anymore. I’m okay to not be in a job for 6 more months. My savings will suffice.

HR in India is horrible. Find a job and then quit. Go slow and thick skinned in current one. Take help of a counsellor to manage a Toxic workplace

Do what's right for you. Though I would suggest that you keep your values and integrity intact. Money and Job come and go, reputation is forever.

Hey everyone, I’m also facing the same dilemma. My mind is fucked up. I don’t want to continue a single day. I’m not able to look for jobs simultaneously as my day is fully occupied, on weekends it’s mostly family chores or I’m too tired, I have got amazing team and great reporting manager. It’s just that I find the environment too risky to continue.

Have gambled the same way twice so far and it has worked out alright for me in the end inshallah. You’ll be fine. If you’re burnt out then I’d go so far as to say don’t even job hunt during the notice period, just take it easy and chill. Especially since you mentioned you’re good wrt savings. Although it’ll defs be emotionally taxing since you won’t be getting a paycheck - take it as an experience.

I too have done twice and will do it again soon.

If you're financially sorted and have less people dependent on you, then go ahead. No job is worth your peace of mind. If you stick, you might end up hating your career choice eventually. Take a guilt free break and come back with a new found liking for your job. Good luck.

If the notice period is 3 months, then quit and you can find something in 3 months

I was in the same situation 4 months back. Which role? Let me know if you feel like discussing this with someone.
