Release from the project

I have had worked in a project for almost 17-18 months. Afterwards I came to RMG and its only been 11 days I was on RMG they have forcefully tagged in an account where the skills are different from my present skills or on I have expertise into it. Now I am requesting the project team for the release but they are not ready to release me. What should I do in such case.. Any fruitful suggestions that can help me out instead of switching the organisation

Did you given your consent in writing. If yes then you will have work there only. If not then you are in a good position. You can reject the joining project on the basis of skills mismatch. Nobody can force you to work.

No I have not given any consent to them. They have tagged me without my consent

Exactly same happend with me as well , tagged without my consent. I have explained the same thing to them and now they are saying they will release me after 15 days
