Rant - No country for ordinary men (and women)

Lately, I have faced a host of situations that made me realize that an ordinary person with no connections or an average amount of money has no worth. And it makes me angry! You are bullied on the road, bullied in your home, and basically bullied everywhere. You need to be either in the top 0.01% or a gunda to get something going your way in life. Otherwise you are just going to be trodden. More importantly, I now realize that because I am an ordinary person, neither can I secure safety for my loved ones, or guarantee comfort to them. I could be earning a couple of crores, and I would still need to run pillar to post to get someone influential to hear me. I am basically one tragic event away from losing almost everything in life. I sometimes hope that someday someone very influential would be a part of my group, so that I could get things done. Honest hard working people have no place here. You will mostly live like a dog, and die like one.

Desh chhod de bhai. It has always been like this here it will always be like this.

My chachas and buas scammed my father out of his hard earned savings, he was also an idiot and trusted them blindly. Now one of them is well connected in judiciary, one in police- we get assaulted by them and their kids and get cases filed against us, we get excluded and badmouthed by relatives (because relatives want ppl with influence around them), and we are running to fight 30+ cases that this bastard ex judge has falsely filed against us, and meanwhile the police harasses us on falsely filed harasement/ assault charges. There is no justice in this nation if you are a normal person.

What the hell is this supposed to mean? I think the post is targeted precisely at this mentality..."unless you're with influential people (read better as per you), you live like a dog and die like one"

While this is true I do feel it happens lesser with even those of us in the top 1%

Unless some legal/bureaucratic trouble or something of that sort comes up
