Rant alert: Sharing my experience with a scooter EV company based in Bihar
I was onboarded as a UI/UX intern for a website design and graphics related work. There were 2 more web dev interns hired. It was a remote opportunity, we were assigned a POC from the company.
After a month of our work, we were expecting our stipend. Turns out, they're not gonna give any stipend at all. They literally have physical office, a warehouse where they store their EV scooters, but they're not gonna pay 10k to their interns.
According to the POC, the company isn't even paying it's full time employees, including the POC himself.
It was going to be my first stipend lol, but I guess it's gonna take some more time.
This behaviour is spread across the country. Writing based in Bihar doesn't make it any different.
Well, I am originally from Bihar itself. My intentions weren't to make it a sensational headline by adding "based in Bihar". Everything, from work culture, ethics, document sharing, meetings was very unorganised, and I have seen better from companies based out of Bihar.
